About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support planning and coordination of project activities, milestones, tasks, and dependencies
- Monitor project plans, deadlines, open tasks, and potential deviations
- Coordinate communication among local IT and business teams, external suppliers, and group IT teams, especially colleagues in Austria
- Prepare materials and organize project workshops, status meetings, and steering committees, including minutes and follow-up of agreed tasks
- Maintain project documentation, requirements, tasks, open points, risks, and decisions in Jira and Confluence
- Support tracking project risks, issues, and changes; monitor agreed measures and escalate topics to experienced project leadership
- Support coordination of business and IT requirements and track their status with relevant experts
- Support planning and coordination of testing and business acceptance, including progress, defects, and deployment readiness
- Support release management and coordinate activities for release, go-live, and handover to operations
- Prepare regular project reporting and decision-making materials for project leadership and management
- Support project budget preparation, planning, and ongoing controlling, including actual costs, forecasts, and budget deviations
- Gradually assume independent responsibility for selected workstreams, smaller project components, or projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- University education in a technical, IT, or economics field
- IT specialization is an advantage
- English language proficiency at minimum B2 level, including the ability to work actively in an international environment
- German language knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT projects
- Two independent references for at least two completed projects
- Category B driving licence
- Knowledge of cybersecurity
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
