About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ship and run production infrastructure on Kubernetes and GCP
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Deploy workloads with Helm and ArgoCD
- Define SLOs and build monitoring and alerting in Grafana
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Lead incident response and run postmortems that produce real fixes
- Build Go tools enabling developers to self-serve environments, deployments and access
- Explain technical tradeoffs to engineers, product managers and leadership
- Write actionable technical documentation
- Leverage AI agents to automate routine work and improve reliability and platform capabilities
- Strengthen access, secrets, certificates and image security with the wider team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience running production infrastructure in an SRE, DevOps or Platform role
- Experience being on-call for production systems on Kubernetes and a major cloud provider, ideally GCP
- Experience leading incident response and postmortems
- Ability to set up SLO-based monitoring and alerting
- Comfortable managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, cloud-native code in at least one language such as Go or Python
- Solid systems knowledge and methodical troubleshooting across the stack
- Comfortable with ambiguity and seeing problems through
- Experience with AI agent workloads and tool servers, such as MCP, is a bonus
- Security experience is a bonus: IAM, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, certificate and TLS/mTLS management, secrets handling, network hardening, vulnerability management, and image hardening and scanning
- Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2 or GDPR compliance frameworks is a bonus
- Database operations and migrations experience is a bonus
- Experience running workloads across multiple cloud providers or regulated regions is a bonus
- English-speaking work environment; English is explicitly stated as the office language
