About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and execution of analytics strategies supporting value-based care initiatives, including risk adjustment, cost management, and quality improvement
  • Oversee medical economics analytics with clients and vendors, providing insights on trends, performance metrics, and financial projections related to value-based care programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into operational practices and align with organizational goals
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve patient targeting and engagement and drive clinical outcomes
  • Design and implement actuarial models for payor clients to evaluate the financial impact of value-based care contracts and alternative payment models
  • Support sales and client success efforts by communicating financial value and responding to actuarial, ROI/performance guarantee, and methodology questions
  • Communicate complex analytical findings to executive leadership and external partners
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in value-based care and healthcare analytics
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Credentialed actuary (FSA, ASA, or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience in healthcare analytics and medical economics
  • Proven experience in value-based care models
  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and software, including data visualization and statistical analysis tools
  • Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada
