About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish trusted relationships with customers and help them utilize Vouch platform tools and services
  • Assess clients’ risk profiles and advise on appropriate risk-management practices as a licensed professional
  • Assist clients with purchasing insurance coverage
  • Manage the client lifecycle from application submission through binding with carrier partners, including online carrier portals
  • Construct and present customized insurance proposals
  • Plan and execute daily sales activities, including client video calls, email responses, and CRM documentation
  • Deliver consistent and timely responses, follow-through, and follow-up to client requests and issues
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and conduct pipeline reviews with the manager
  • Help scale Vouch’s customer experience and contribute to new products, processes, and technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of sales, brokerage, customer service, or other client-facing experience; within the insurance industry preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to be agile and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Competitive drive to outperform peers and continuously improve hard and soft skills
  • Dependable, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Active/current Property and Casualty License or obtained within 30 days of start date
  • Ability to drive success through ambiguous and complex situations
  • Takes initiative to problem solve when meeting resistance
  • Knowledge of Commercial P&C coverage lines preferred
  • Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth environments preferred
  • Experience working within a CRM and multiple communication tools, such as Salesforce and ZenDesk, preferred
  • Prior experience in a quota-carrying role with responsibility for achieving individual quantitative goals preferred
