About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the Portfolio Solutions project management team with minimal direction
Set direction for operations and change-the-business initiatives
Manage changing business needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies
Provide strategic direction and management for a complex portfolio
Manage stakeholder relationships with senior-level management across various functions
Collaborate with cross-functional business units on project planning, resourcing, and delivery
Collaborate with IT technical teams and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery
Lead construction of project teams, charters, project plans, contingencies, success metrics, and ROI measurements
Guide project managers and analysts to ensure project quality and project management standards are followed and improved
Interact with sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leadership to meet or exceed project deliverables
Establish and monitor value metrics to maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs
Drive business value across program activities
Plan, implement, and continuously improve project management best practices and toolsets to streamline processes and maximize operational effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 additional year of experience related to functional area
Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
Project-related experience working on multiple concurrent simple to highly complex projects
Experience with various project management methodologies, standard concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and/or software packages
Ability to make balanced business decisions
Ability to influence teams in various divisions toward common goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
For remote roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings
Must comply with pre-employment substance abuse testing
