About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, plan, and manage scope, resources, schedule, budget, and risk for large complex projects
Lead cost-benefit analyses, return-on-investment forecasts, project proposals, charters, risk analyses, and project schedules
Track actual project results
Perform scope analysis and document lessons learned
Develop and manage project schedules
Identify and establish stakeholders and project governance
Identify project team resources and secure appropriate staff
Develop and manage project budgets
Communicate roles and expectations to project teams
Escalate issues and recommend solutions to stakeholders and project teams
Create and deliver presentations, status updates, and other information appropriate to the audience
Recognize risk triggers and communicate situations to project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders
Mentor and act as a resource to other Project Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years leading all aspects of large complex projects
4+ years of experience with standard project management methodology, tools and/or software packages
Demonstrated ability as a core decision-maker showing balanced consideration of business issues
Ability to drive results through informal authority and serve as a consultant to key business partners
Ability to elicit cooperation from Senior Management and other departments
Excellent written, verbal communication, and analytical skills
Ability to understand and communicate information to technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all organizational levels
Ability to identify, develop, and gather resources necessary to complete a project
Discretion and independent judgment in job duties
For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings
Experience with Supply Chain operations preferred
Must comply with VSP Vision Information Security and Privacy Policies
Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
