Key responsibilities & impact

Complete the design, construction, development, testing, implementation, and technology delivery for business needs throughout the enterprise
Handle technical aspects of the entire agile development process for moderately complex projects
Design, code/develop, test, and implement moderately complex systems
Design solutions for moderately complex business problems while considering operational and functional aspects
Research and permanently resolve system problems and incidents
Mentor Apprentice and Associate Software Engineers through advice, coaching, and training opportunities
Manage systems and people involved, including vendors
Upgrade applications in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of programming experience
Proficient programming experience in one or more current programming languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical knowledge of all phases of application development, including analysis and programming
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties
For remote roles, demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings
Experience in ASP.NET C# preferred
Classic ASP development and knowledge preferred
Knowledge of Windows OS and Linux/Unix environments preferred
Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript preferred
Understanding of C#, Classic ASP, SQL database standards, Visual Studio Professional Editor, debugging, and troubleshooting preferred
Understanding of FTP/SFTP with Postscript, AFP, PDF, and HTML preferred
Ability to complete application upgrades timely preferred
Professional team player with a friendly ability to work with people preferred
Flexibility in managing systems and people involved, including vendors preferred
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing preferred
Ability to manage competing priorities preferred
Ability to forge business-oriented solutions and willingness to learn and work on new applications preferred
Must comply with pre-employment substance abuse testing
