About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for VTEX CMS
- Identify opportunities where AI can improve content creation, management, personalization, governance, and delivery
- Work with engineering and design to build content management experiences for enterprise commerce
- Validate ideas through prototypes, proofs of concept, and experimentation
- Leverage modern AI development workflows and tools to accelerate product discovery, specification, and validation
- Partner with customers to understand content operations, publishing workflows, developer needs, and business challenges
- Drive product decisions using customer insights, market research, experimentation, and data analysis
- Collaborate with platform teams to integrate CMS capabilities with storefront, search, merchandising, and commerce services
- Track AI, developer tooling, content management, and digital experience trends
- Define success metrics and measure product impact, adoption, and customer outcomes
- Influence product direction across multiple teams and contribute to VTEX’s broader platform strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading product strategy and execution for complex software products
- Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies and concepts, including large language models, agents, tool calling, MCPs (Model Context Protocol), retrieval systems, AI workflows, and emerging development paradigms
- Comfortable creating prototypes, workflows, mock implementations, or technical proofs of concept
- Comfortable discussing technical architecture, APIs, integrations, developer workflows, and platform capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and make informed product tradeoffs
- Deep curiosity about users and successful outcomes
- Ability to clearly articulate product strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to build alignment across engineering, design, and leadership stakeholders
- Ability to write concise, effective product narratives
- Ability to speak and present fluently in English
- Experience building CMS, developer platform, AI, productivity, or enterprise SaaS products preferred
- Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Spec Kit, or similar platforms preferred
- Experience in fast-paced product organizations where experimentation and iteration are core operating principles preferred
- Knowledge of digital experience platforms, headless CMS architectures, content operations, or commerce technologies is a plus
