About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and maintain backend APIs and services that integrate language models (LLMs) with enterprise systems
Implement RAG pipelines, including ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and vector search
Build agents and tool use/function calling workflows connected to internal APIs and databases
Create web interfaces for AI interactions, including response streaming, user feedback, and error handling
Define and implement model evaluation, observability, resource management, and latency practices
Ensure security and compliance, including data protection (LGPD), prompt injection prevention, access control, and audit trails
Develop the necessary tests for each use case
Document solutions and share knowledge with the team
Collaborate with product, data, and information security teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven professional experience in software development
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js for backend development
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar)
Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) into production applications
Knowledge of prompt engineering and RAG
Experience with REST APIs, relational and non-relational databases, and messaging systems
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containers (Docker), and CI/CD
Strong engineering practices: automated testing, code reviews, and Git version control
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
Nice to have: knowledge of and experience using vector databases; experience with agent and orchestration frameworks and MCP; experience with LLM evaluation and observability tools; Kubernetes and Terraform; integration with SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow; experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries
