About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and implement Logistics and Operations systems requirements in alignment with business strategy and IT governance
Develop business cases in collaboration with the responsible departments, define priorities, and present initiatives to the IT Steering Committee and other forums
Evaluate emerging technologies, industry best practices, and global logistics trends
Identify opportunities for digital transformation, process automation, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence
Manage the team and process for auditing inbound and outbound freight documents and invoices
Ensure freight documents and invoices comply with VWB processes and standards
Manage and control Logistics Overhead costs in line with budget commitments
Plan long-term values (PRs)
Prepare materials and consolidate information for Performance Reviews
Ensure the plausibility of Logistics Costs (Budget, Forecast, and Actual), including all VWB plants
Manage and control access related to Logistics Systems in accordance with compliance requirements, ensuring business continuity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education qualification
Intermediate English preferred
Knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain processes
Knowledge of cost management and analysis
Knowledge of Logistics systems and processes
Knowledge of BI / Power BI and Excel
Knowledge of automation and process improvement
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with departments such as IT, Finance, and Logistics
Availability for domestic and international travel required
