About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and deploy modules and services across the technology stack
- Translate product roadmap items into scalable, testable, and maintainable code
- Build responsive user interfaces using React
- Design and implement backend services and APIs using .NET Core, C#, and Python
- Work with event-driven and message-based systems such as RabbitMQ
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party systems
- Design data models, write database migrations, and optimize queries
- Write automated unit and integration tests
- Diagnose and fix bugs, refactor code, and reduce technical debt
- Profile and optimize application performance
- Implement and manage feature flags for safe, incremental releases
- Keep dependencies and frameworks up to date
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and improve code quality
- Build internal tools and automation scripts
- Contribute to AWS-based cloud infrastructure and services
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Implement security and compliance best practices
- Conduct code reviews
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including READMEs, API documentation, and runbooks
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Provide technical support to other engineers, including pair and mob programming
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in a hybrid Agile framework
- Provide on-call support for production systems as part of the team rotation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience
- Frontend experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Backend experience with C#, .NET Core, and Python
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
- Experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or similar
- Experience designing scalable and maintainable software architecture
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to generate, review, or optimize code
- Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles and/or experience building mobile-enabled or responsive applications used in real-world environments
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline design
- Strong understanding of Agile software delivery practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and collaborative communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
- Nice to have: integration experience with HubSpot CRM and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP
- Nice to have: familiarity with AWS Glue, SNS, SES, and CloudWatch
- Nice to have: knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
