About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling
- Manage paving crews
- Oversee paving equipment needs and repair
- Reinforce continuous quality improvement in laydown and compaction
- Work on commercial and industrial construction sites throughout Southern Wisconsin and the Midwest
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- A CDL is desired but not necessary
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Must be punctual, dependable and have a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct
- Must be self-directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities
- Ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti-trust laws and regulations
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty and dusty environments
- Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required; union membership is not required prior to employment
- Minimum of 5 years' experience at the field level, laying and finishing asphalt
- Prior experience as a Foreman
- Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations
