About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop highly resilient back-end systems using Java
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of new features, from implementation through bug fixing and performance tuning
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA to translate business needs into technical solutions
Improve code quality through automated testing and code reviews
Create clear, maintainable technical documentation
Research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies
Work within international Scrum teams to deliver scalable payment and finance technology

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong foundation in Java
Experience with Spring Boot or Hibernate
Proven experience building distributed systems and scalable, high-availability solutions
Comfort writing solid SQL queries and structuring data correctly
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
Experience with containerization using Docker and AWS ECS
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Track record of thriving in fast-paced Agile environments
JavaScript, Apache Camel, or BPM engines experience is a bonus
