About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and research suitable target customers in the DACH region
- Build a relevant network through LinkedIn
- Generate new contacts through social selling and targeted, GDPR-compliant outreach
- Conduct introductory calls, discovery calls, and product demos for weclapp and its plugins
- Qualify leads accurately and hand them over to the executive team
- Prepare proposals, sales materials, and briefing documents
- Maintain the sales pipeline and CRM
- Follow up with and nurture leads
- Produce reliable forecasts
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, content, and lead generation
- Share market feedback with the product team and executive management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in pre-sales, sales development, business development, or inside sales
- Ideally, experience in the IT, SaaS, or e-commerce sectors
- Initial knowledge of weclapp and the ability to present the software credibly
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, including shop processes, ordering, warehousing/shipping, and commonly used tools
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales/Social Selling and modern, GDPR-compliant prospecting methods
- Excellent communication skills, along with a structured, self-directed, and remote-ready working style
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Residence and employment in Austria or Germany
- Specific, demonstrable experience with the Swiss market (nice to have)
- Knowledge of ERP processes, including Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, and master data (nice to have)
- Experience with CRM tools, marketing automation, and content creation (nice to have)
- Knowledge of the e-commerce stack, including Shopify, marketplaces, and carriers such as DPD, Sendcloud, and Shipcloud (nice to have)
- Experience with automation (n8n) or AI-supported sales/marketing (nice to have)
