About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and process submissions for Global Experiences design, 3D sculpts, graphics, signage, costumes, displays, and related materials
  • Shepherd submissions in STAR Labs through each stage from concept to final
  • Act as Document Controller for STAR Labs and Box.com
  • Route approvals and comments to relevant team members while maintaining naming conventions and folder structure
  • Work with Creative, Business Leads, Product Development, and Franchise teams
  • Route logos, ride names, and similar materials through Legal and maintain a spreadsheet of Legal approvals
  • Review physical and digital samples for compliance and brand integrity
  • Apply Global Experiences policies, franchise guidelines, manufacturing timelines, and development processes to provide detailed feedback
  • Secure necessary talent and third-party approvals for evergreen properties
  • Track franchise guideline, legal policy, system, and process updates
  • Provide STAR Labs reports to management, Legal, and Trademarks when requested
  • Provide initial STAR Labs support to licensees and escalate issues as needed
  • Train and support new licensees and third-party approvers on STAR Labs and Box
  • Develop alternative solutions that support licensees while protecting the company legally
  • Support Design team creative brainstorms with legal, company policy, and franchise guidance
  • Unpack and sort pre-production and contractual samples shipped to the company

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 3 years as a Brand Assurance or in equivalent job experience
  • Graphic Design, themed entertainment, or creative production background is a plus
  • Art production themed entertainment, slot machine development or overseas manufacturing and sourcing experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Highly detail-oriented and preferably have an eye for detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, professionally and tactfully with all levels of personnel, inside and outside of the company
  • Must have good spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage
  • Must be able to accurately describe images in words and accurately record all verbiage in the database correctly
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work effectively
  • Must be able to handle digital images
  • Must be able to properly sift through information and properly identify emergencies and handle them
  • Must have the ability to acquire and work with knowledge of properties in theme parks, pop-ups, location-based entertainment, hotels and restaurants
  • Must have the ability to acquire and work with knowledge of copyrights and trademarks for use in Experience approvals
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must have the ability to absorb and respond quickly to given information
  • Must have the ability to learn various properties and distinguish different styles of art forms
  • Must have the ability to learn about art production and manufacturing processes in general
  • Must be able to multi-task, give design direction, and communicate that quickly and effectively
  • Must know Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Zoom required
  • Adobe Workfront is a plus
  • Proficient typing skills required, approximately 55 wpm
  • Good with technology and able to learn STAR Labs and adapt quickly to new tools
