About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support one SVP, HBO Comedy Programming
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, shifting priorities, and executive preparation
  • Coordinate daily meetings and larger team events, including room setups, materials, and video calls across time zones
  • Act as a key point of contact across the team, other departments, and external partners
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Connect, field, and log outgoing and incoming calls
  • Plan domestic and international travel, including flights and itineraries
  • Handle expense reporting via Concur and track and audit expenses
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses according to company guidelines
  • Support day-to-day team operations and onboarding needs
  • Maintain systems, files, and trackers
  • Support projects, team initiatives, and last-minute requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years supporting executives
  • Experience ideally in media, entertainment, or a fast-moving creative environment
  • Experience working with different personalities and leadership styles
  • Strong organizational instincts and ability to prioritize, pivot, and stay ahead
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a high level of discretion
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with Slack, Zoom, Teams, and Concur
