About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, mentor, and develop PX Researchers across all levels
  • Oversee performance, growth plans, and skill advancement
  • Foster a collaborative, curious, player-centric team culture
  • Oversee research planning across multiple projects and franchises
  • Align research with PX vision, strategic priorities, and studio needs
  • Prioritize research based on impact, ROI, and available resources
  • Build trusted partnerships with Design, Production, Publishing, and Insights teams
  • Ensure PX engagement early in development
  • Support cross-functional synthesis across PX, Analytics, Market Research, and Community teams
  • Produce unified, player-centered narratives
  • Ensure insights are reliable, actionable, and tailored to different stakeholders
  • Help teams identify knowledge gaps and use research to de-risk decisions throughout development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Science, UX Research, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in User Research, UX Research, or a related field
  • 2+ years of mentoring or people leadership experience
  • Experience with products across mobile, console, and PC platforms preferred
  • Experience partnering with Design and Production teams in a development environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong prioritization, planning, and multi-project management capabilities
  • Familiarity with game development cycles, milestone structures, and production workflows
  • Solid command of user research methods and their strategic application across development phases
  • Ability to advocate for the player with clarity, empathy, and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated skill in anticipating risks and guiding teams toward confident, informed decisions
  • Commitment to curiosity, thoughtful communication, and shared accountability
  • Passion for gaming and exceptional player experiences
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English required
  • French/English bilingualism strongly preferred
