About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and maintain on-air continuity
- Take appropriate disaster recovery action when necessary
- Verify that program segments start and end clearly
- Verify all commercials, promos, and graphics air as scheduled
- Monitor closed captioning, subtitles, and V-Chip for accuracy
- Monitor feeds for correct language distribution
- Use knowledge of broadcast automation systems, video servers, and graphics generators
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide quality control and delivery of the on-air product to affiliates and viewers in a 24/7 broadcast environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years of events live operations or master control experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts or Radio/TV/Film preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer knowledge
- Ability to handle high-pressure multi-tasking situations while acting professionally
- Broadcast Automation experience preferred
- Familiarity or fluency in another language is a plus
- Willingness to accommodate a 24/7 broadcast and live environment schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States
