About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the end-to-end product strategy for ML-powered personalization and discovery
  • Identify opportunities aligned with WBD’s strategic goals to improve engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead roadmap development for personalization systems
  • Coordinate with engineering, data science, UX, and content teams to prioritize initiatives
  • Use experimentation, user research, and behavioral data to design and optimize personalized experiences
  • Manage complex ranking systems and feedback loops across product surfaces
  • Partner with executives, engineering leaders, data teams, and content strategists
  • Monitor personalization, ML tooling, and competitors’ discovery experiences
  • Define KPIs aligned with user value and business metrics
  • Lead go-to-market for personalization and recommendation capabilities
  • Ensure internal readiness, high-quality rollout, and iterative learning cycles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with significant time spent on ML-driven products or content discovery systems
  • Proven track record of shipping consumer-facing personalization or recommendation systems at scale
  • Strong technical fluency with ranking models, data pipelines, AI, and ML evaluation
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and product experimentation frameworks
  • Ability to connect algorithmic performance, customer experience treatments, and business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills for audiences ranging from executives to junior engineers
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred but not required)
