Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the functional lead for system modules of significant scope and complexity
Manage and oversee new system launches, functionality, and enhancements impacting the Order to Cash process
Lead design, configuration, test scenario and script creation, testing, execution, and adoption
Direct defect resolution and enhancement technical development priorities for third-party partners
Communicate project timelines, KPIs, and status to Order to Cash leadership groups
Develop performance analysis of business processes and identify improvements
Participate in stakeholder meetings regarding major projects and initiatives
Represent the functional area on cross-functional execution teams
Recommend long-term solutions aligned with business needs and organizational strategy
Engage technical subject matter experts across the enterprise for input and assistance
Analyze business needs and requirements for process improvement and automation opportunities
Gather and document business requirements through interviews, surveys, and other methods
Develop and maintain business cases and cost-benefit analyses
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and are properly implemented
Develop and maintain use cases, user stories, and functional specifications
Identify and prioritize requirements and develop project plans
Identify, report, and resolve stakeholder issues and concerns
Manage stakeholder expectations
Participate in software design sessions with development teams
Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept development
Collaborate with developers on implementation
Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Develop and maintain application documentation, user manuals, and functional specifications
Maintain daily business operations and optimize operational tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of prior experience in a related field
11-15 years of extensive experience in managing Order to Cash processes in a large and complex environment
Strong understanding of the Order to Cash process
Working experience of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), Accounts Receivable, RAR, and FI (Financial Accounting) modules
Experience in customer MDM, external billing and revenue interfaces, e-invoicing solutions and reporting
2-4 years of transactional processing and operations assurance experience
Undergraduate degree required in computer science, mathematics or business sciences
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience developing financial models in Excel and facilitating business discussions
Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Superb relationship building skills
Ability to work collaboratively with small teams
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts on a rotation basis
MBA or graduate degree preferred but not required
SAP certification in SD and/or FI modules preferred
Post graduate work experience in a related field preferred
Knowledge of media, entertainment, and technology industries preferred
Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services preferred
Experience working in a national or global company preferred
Visualization tool knowledge such as Tableau or Power BI helpful
Comfort working in a highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
