About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help design scalable, modern, and efficient solutions for financial applications and integrations
Evaluate, implement, and enable AI and agent-based process automation to improve business processes and drive efficiency
Support project teams, stakeholders, and leadership in prioritizing business requirements
Develop and maintain detailed project plans using standard tools
Define required project roles and secure appropriate resources with management
Coordinate deployment and migration readiness activities into production
Support data and document archiving for retiring and retired applications
Partner with stakeholders to define, document, and execute project plans
Support vendor evaluations and consultant proposal assessments
Monitor industry trends and incorporate relevant practices into business processes
Develop and execute methodologies to evaluate, prioritize, and monitor business process success
Articulate strategic issues and provide logical options
Define archiving strategies for retiring and retired applications and systems
Develop strategy presentations for senior executives
Analyze business process performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Develop a scalable analytics framework and dynamic business intelligence dashboards for business planning and KPI-based performance measurement
Architect scalable, secure, modern, and efficient business solutions
Participate in stakeholder meetings and align technology roadmaps and priorities
Contribute to new and improved workflows and operational initiatives
Develop and deliver training and supporting materials
Create and maintain runbooks and application documentation
Own transition and ongoing support strategies for retiring and retired applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in a related industry (e.g., media, entertainment)
5+ years of experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect supporting ERP finance, supply chain, and related financial solutions
Bachelor’s degree required, with focus on Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electronics, Management, or a related technical field preferred
Knowledge of at least one enterprise architecture framework (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, FEAF, Gartner EA), patterns, and best practices for business transformation
Experience developing architecture diagrams and data models using tools such as Visio and Lucidchart
Working knowledge of financial systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP Cloud, or Workday Financials, as well as Ariba, OCR platforms, and e-invoicing platforms
Knowledge of cloud and data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Informatica, and data lake technologies
Knowledge of AI platforms and tools such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or Azure AI
Experience with data and document archiving solutions, tools, and methodologies
Experience working with SaaS, PaaS, custom, and third-party applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with small teams
Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent preferred
MBA preferred
2+ years of post-MBA experience in a related industry preferred
Experience working in a global media company preferred
Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geographic locations preferred
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Amazon QuickSight preferred
Experience with ERP and adjacent enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle E-Business, or Ariba preferred
