About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete purchase orders, monitor open purchase orders, and provide order-tracking details for technology-related purchases
Obtain quotes for equipment and services when applicable
Accurately and promptly capture purchase information in the procurement system
Communicate promptly on purchases and escalate supplier or supervisor issues when appropriate
Work with Tech Finance and business units to ensure purchase orders are coded to correct cost centers and accounts
Develop expertise in a secondary category or functional area to support business continuity, absence coverage, and procurement scalability
Maintain accurate order and supplier data within the procurement system
Process requests to update vendor information, including payment terms, locations, and contacts
Ensure procurement data adheres to standards and help revise standards as the business changes
Identify, recommend, and implement procurement process improvements
Collaborate with procurement team members and end users to streamline activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

0-3+ years of technology procurement experience
Customer service oriented
Team player able to work in a team-centric environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to understand complex processes and see how items relate at a macro level
Accuracy and ability to self-audit
Resourcefulness to find answers and make educated decisions
Ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Interpersonal and solution-oriented attitude
Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Ariba or SAP experience required
SharePoint 2010 or higher
Solid understanding of Procure 2 Pay process
Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Suite skills, including Visio process flows, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, charts)
CITAM or other ITAM certifications preferred
Understanding of the WBD Technology organization is a plus
Knowledge of existing WBD Technology processes and tools preferred
