About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the future-state Order to Cash processes and measures aligned with organizational strategies, country-specific knowledge, and operational requirements
  • Lead cross-functional and virtual teams in reviewing, designing, developing, and implementing global OTC processes and procedures
  • Lead process design meetings with internal subject matter resources and third-party vendors
  • Lead technical and operational teams through testing, defect resolution, and ongoing configuration of SAP SD/FI-AR modules and associated subsystems
  • Manage OTC testing across credit limits, billing, cash application, dispute management, credit/debit memos, and customer statements
  • Collaborate with SAP Master Data Management on customer master data configuration and governance
  • Work with WMG Tax on complex worldwide tax scenarios
  • Represent intercompany billing between service centers and transformation
  • Standardize global, regional, and local OTC processes while incorporating required localizations
  • Lead design, documentation, and ongoing socialization of end-to-end OTC processes
  • Build consensus with global WMG partners and communicate process and systems impacts
  • Partner with IT on integrations between commercial operations, billing platforms, and core finance systems
  • Develop job aids, communications, and training approaches for new OTC processes and systems
  • Represent the benefits of Finance Transformation across WMG
  • Represent the OTC business process in Fit/Gap sessions and challenge customization requests
  • Maintain OTC SOPs, user guides, and training materials
  • Participate in OTC training-material preparation
  • Resolve and review OTC issues, risks, and business impacts
  • Identify internal and external OTC improvements, including cash-application automation and AI-driven credit scoring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, Management Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience focusing on OTC processes (Credit, Collections, Cash Application, Billing, AR) or related finance transformation experience
  • Strong Order to Cash process and systems knowledge, preferably within a music, media, digital licensing, or entertainment industry context
  • Prior experience leading workshops and engaging collaborators through targeted consensus-building approaches
  • Relevant operational OTC experience supervising credit management, order fulfillment/billing workflows, cash management, dispute resolution, AR ledger management, and internal controls
  • Technically savvy with a robust organizational change skillset
  • Experience with a previous SAP implementation, specifically SAP SD, FI-AR, or FSCM
  • Exemplary collaborator engagement and management skills internationally and within complex, multi-faceted organizations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex dispute, credit risk, and receivables analysis
  • Ability to develop and articulate a long-term OTC vision and implement incremental improvements
  • Ability to collaborate with sales, licensing, supply chain, legal, and finance business units
  • Transformational leadership experience
  • Media, entertainment, digital distribution, or music industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with SAP FSCM and modern automated cash application tools
