About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with operational coordination of department programs and activities
- Manage leadership calendars, committee meetings, minutes, action items, communication outreach, databases, and files
- Coordinate logistics for major domestic and international conferences and speaking engagements
- Handle travel arrangements, accommodations, catering, speaking presentation logistics, meeting schedules, and meeting materials
- Process reimbursements promptly
- Assist with departmental purchases, travel, expenditures, and program budgets
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to assist with operational coordination of department programs and activities
- Ability to coordinate domestic and international conference and speaking engagement logistics
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred skills: Detail-Oriented, Interpersonal Communication, Multicultural Environments, Oral Communications, Organizing, Written Communication
- Successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and applicable additional checks
- No specific certification/professional license required
- Driver’s license is not required
