About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and create structures around C-BRAIN program initiatives and unique projects
  • Focus on goals, identify best practices, and implement priority plans and undertakings
  • Support and monitor implementation and planning of initiatives and projects
  • Coordinate and co-lead projects with minimal oversight
  • Report, monitor, and partner with academic, industry, and philanthropic partners, collaborators, and vendors
  • Implement strategic priorities set by C-BRAIN leadership
  • Develop ideas and serve as a thought partner to C-BRAIN leaders
  • Work with senior leadership on new initiatives, special projects, new leaders, and management priorities
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders through advocacy, leadership, and communication
  • Interpret data and advise leadership on decision challenges and opportunities
  • Represent C-BRAIN professionally and courteously
  • Manage priorities and deadlines, communications, meetings, events, and activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a higher education environment preferred
  • Ability to support program leaders as needed
  • Ability to collaborate with others and provide assistance, leadership, and expertise
  • Ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, academic and industry partners, external collaborators, vendors, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish complex, multi-stakeholder program goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with project management software (PMS)
  • A driver's license is not required
  • No specific certification/professional license is required
