About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform staff-level scientist/engineer duties
  • Conduct soil and groundwater sampling

  • Work in a combination of office and field environments
  • Travel to multiple sites or remote locations
  • Report to the Senior Environmental Scientist

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, or related degree from an ABET accredited College or University
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurability under company policy required
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must successfully complete and pass a DOT drug and alcohol test prior to employment
  • Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement within the first 6 months of employment
  • Must be willing to learn to operate drilling equipment using direct push and rotary tooling
  • Experience in environmental consulting or civil/geotechnical fieldwork preferred
  • OSHA HAZWOPER Certification preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Training preferred
  • Class B CDL preferred
  • Experience operating heavy machinery preferred
  • Welding skills preferred
  • Problem solving
