About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise sustainability teams at leading companies on measuring actionable carbon and non-carbon footprints
- Guide customers on scoping new measurements and comparing footprint methodologies
- Deliver advisory services that help customers establish measurements aligned with sustainability goals
- Serve as a trusted partner in emissions verifications
- Provide specialized advisory to optimize customer data and methodologies
- Help customers unlock maximum value from Watershed’s sustainability platform
- Collaborate with science, engineering, and product teams to develop innovative measurement solutions
- Expand Watershed’s sustainability intelligence layer
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6 years of experience in a consulting, solutions-engineering, or other customer-facing role
- Experience in sustainability-related fields, greenhouse gas accounting and/or ESG reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to learn quickly and operate well in ambiguity
- Organized, systematic, and efficient approach; ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
- Ability to think clearly about complex problems and work with data
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Passion for solving climate change and contributing in a fast-paced startup
- Fluent in multiple languages, including English, French, German, or Spanish, considered a nice to have
- Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week
- Must answer whether visa sponsorship is required to work in the United Kingdom
