About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and ship end-to-end data pipelines
- Ingest data from EMR and clinic source systems
- Model data into a canonical data layer
- Serve analytics-ready datasets and insights
- Work with customers to migrate and validate data from legacy EMRs to wawa
- Manage customers through complex data migrations step by step
- Solve heterogeneous healthcare data, schema mapping, data quality, validation, and multi-country compliance problems
- Collaborate with application engineers and clinicians
- Deliver accurate, well-documented, and useful datasets and metrics
- Shape the data architecture and engineering culture of a fertility-care platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working with clinical healthcare datasets and standards (OMOP is a plus)
- Experience building production data pipelines
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- AWS and Ruby are bonuses
- Comfortable working directly with clinics and external stakeholders
- Transparent and honest communication
- Collaborative, respectful, and positive team presence
- Strong focus on data quality and reliable, observable pipelines
- Appreciation of well-modelled data
- Ability to build elegant, scalable pipelines and a sensible warehouse
