About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Root-cause recurring problems across Underwriting, Product, and Sales
Define KPIs, analyze self-sourced data, and present findings to Director- and VP-level leadership
Build, scope, test, launch, and own workflow automations across Jira, HubSpot, Pipedream, Tines, and Scriptrunner
Run cross-functional projects from definition through delivery
Own relationships with Underwriting, Product & Engineering, and Sales globally
Manage dependencies outside the Operations team
Identify inefficiencies spanning multiple business units and help shape the team roadmap
Support teammates as they grow
Build AI-driven workflow capabilities to triage and resolve tickets, improve routing, and enhance existing workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of relevant experience
Experience ideally at a fast-paced start-up or scale-up
Independently owned projects end to end
Demonstrated experience scoping, building, and owning workflow automations end-to-end using Jira, HubSpot, Pipedream, Tines, Scriptrunner, or similar
Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and managing stakeholders outside your own team
Hands-on SQL experience required
Knowledge of Python or another scripting language
Experience applying AI tools such as Claude or Cursor to develop working code or automation is required
Experience in financial services, fintech, or B2B is particularly interesting
Legal right to work in the country where the role is located
