About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a technical contributor for the Aware platform
- Work across all areas of the application domain and the full application delivery stack
- Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions for complex healthcare problems
- Participate in technical and product discussions with engineering, product, and business leaders
- Work independently while applying strong design, communication, and solution practices

Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design for scalable web applications and backend services
- Expert understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration
- NodeJS
- Java
- Spring
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- At least one modern frontend framework: VueJS, React, or Angular
- SQL and relational databases
- REST API
- Automated testing with JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Vitest, or similar
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
- Preferred: experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms
- Preferred: familiarity with statistics and healthcare domain
- Preferred: expertise with distributed event streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Preferred: experience with data pipeline technologies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive software development experience, emphasizing scalable, distributed systems
