About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the portfolio of publicly funded continuing education programs and develop future-ready learning products
  • Report directly to the Executive Management and the Board
  • Help shape the further development of the Product and Media Management division
  • Manage the joint value creation across product development, accreditation, and portfolio management
  • Own the product portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Create the framework for collaboration between Product Management, Media Management, and Campus
  • Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and develop a team of approximately 20 employees
  • Manage and continuously develop the continuing education portfolio based on market needs, customer requirements, commercial viability, and strategic business objectives
  • Take responsibility for product ideation, development, market launch, optimization, and portfolio rationalization
  • Ensure AZAV-compliant product development, accreditation, and the quality of product concepts, curricula, and costing
  • Establish systematic market, trend, and topic scouting
  • Derive well-founded product and portfolio decisions
  • Further develop data- and KPI-driven product management
  • Shape the transformation toward an integrated Product and Media division
  • Collaborate with Media Management, Campus, and other internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of leadership experience
  • Extensive experience in Product Management, particularly in portfolio development, product development, and Product Lifecycle Management
  • Deep understanding of the education market
  • Knowledge of publicly funded continuing education
  • Knowledge of AZAV requirements and accreditation processes is a plus
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Experience working with data, KPIs, and financial performance indicators
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and managing complex products across multiple specialist areas
  • Strong change management skills and experience in transformation and organizational development initiatives
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to make clear decisions even in uncertain situations
  • Ability to bring together different perspectives and work collaboratively in a shared leadership model
  • Interest in digital learning environments, AI, and innovative educational formats
  • Knowledge of modern market and competitive analysis methods
  • Confidence working with executive management and Board-level stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-organizational change projects
