About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver subject-specific instruction at the Dresden-North location (20%) and from a home office in the WBS LearnSpace 3D (80%)
  • Prepare and develop instructional learning materials based on the curriculum
  • Conduct competency assessments
  • Support course participants in expanding their professional skills and integrating into the job market
  • Promote participants’ skills development as a subject-matter contributor and learning facilitator

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training, technician qualification, or engineering qualification in automation technology
  • Knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning automation systems
  • Knowledge of advanced programming of Siemens PLCs using TIA, including technology and communication objects, visualization, and machine safety
  • Knowledge of network engineering
  • Experience applying TIA knowledge to PROFIBUS, PROFINET, AS-i, and OPC UA
  • Knowledge of control engineering and measurement technology
  • Very strong command of German, the language of instruction, at C2 level
  • Strong methodological and didactic skills for delivering training content
  • Independent, structured working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Basic knowledge of SIMIT software is an advantage
  • AEVO certification or comparable pedagogical training is desirable
