About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively develop and enhance the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement platform
  • Assume technical responsibility for complex features from initial concept through successful go-live
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for team-related questions
  • Develop tailored solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 using plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, and Power Automate flows
  • Extend and optimize the user interface with JavaScript and Xrm.WebApi
  • Develop custom PCF controls
  • Work with solution layering and the ALM pipeline in Azure DevOps
  • Own branching strategies, pull requests, and automated deployments
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Application Insights
  • Implement robust and scalable interfaces
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features, including requirements clarification, effort estimation, technical implementation, test support, and production rollout
  • Participate in code reviews and help advance engineering practices
  • Support junior developers through mentoring, pair programming, and constructive feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience—at least 4 years—in development with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and the Power Platform
  • Very good knowledge of C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript, as well as experience developing plugins, workflows, and Power Automate flows
  • In-depth expertise in extending and integrating Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of Xrm.WebApi and Azure services, such as Functions, Service Bus, Application Insights, and Key Vault
  • Experience developing robust interfaces
  • Confident with ALM concepts and modern development processes
  • Knowledge of solution layering, managed and unmanaged solutions, Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and pull-request-based workflows
  • Very good German and good English skills, at least C1/B2 level
  • Experience with PCF controls and testing frameworks in the Power Platform environment, such as FakeXrmEasy or XrmUnitTest, is desirable
  • Microsoft certification such as PL-400 or an equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Initial practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is desirable
  • Knowledge of integration solutions such as API Management, Logic Apps, or Event Grid is desirable
