About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee a team managing day-to-day account initiatives for an assigned client
- Manage key day-to-day client relationships and partners through proactive communication and conflict resolution
- Deliver channel strategies and tactics for product launches
- Track work progress and deliverables and relay client feedback to the team
- Provide strategic marketing guidance and thought leadership
- Understand clients' businesses and educate clients about agency capabilities
- Oversee client profitability, burn reports, account budgeting, actualization, and measurement metrics
- Develop and maintain schedules and plans with internal teams
- Obtain internal and client approvals for project execution
- Lead client presentations and contribute to discussions toward desired outcomes
- Communicate and follow up with clients and internal departments on projects
- Maintain working knowledge of production with vendors
- Prepare and oversee client job and project status; ensure on-time delivery and expedite delayed operations
- Lead internal pitch milestones, conduct market research, draft proposals, and build staffing plans
- Build partnerships with client business leads and decision makers to expand revenue opportunities
- Develop staffing plans and proposals for new projects and briefs
- Maintain consistent use of agency financial systems and templates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years in an account management role or similar, preferably within a creative advertising agency, with emphasis on social media content strategy and execution
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
- Proven account management and client communication skills
- Deep understanding of the social landscape, social platforms, features, and best practices
- Experience with scoping, timeline creation, project management, margin, and revenue growth in partnership with project management, production, and finance teams
- Knowledge of brand experience, influencer/creator marketing, social-first creative, and strategy playbooks
- Curiosity about clients' business and passion for solving business problems
- Financial literacy and budget management
- Demonstrated expertise delivering channel assets from strategy and planning through activation and execution
- Highly proficient with Google Suite and Slack
- Baseline knowledge of A.I. tools and functions
- Knowledge of Asana is a plus
