About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and develop high-volume organic social content for Instagram and TikTok
- Own social output for an industry-leading global technology brand within a UK-focused team
- Work as one half of a creative duo alongside a Content Creator
- Apply culturally relevant insights across music, podcasts, TV, film, and online communities
- Develop content hooks designed to engage audiences within seconds
- Operate independently with creative autonomy without requiring a strict brief
- Use cultural insights and platform expertise to create entertainment-led brand content
- Manage social channels, scheduling, publishing, audience engagement, and community management
- Present creative work and explain the rationale behind content decisions to internal and client teams
- Identify and execute reactive content opportunities quickly
- Use social listening, sentiment tracking, and channel data to inform creative strategy
- Ensure published content complies with brand, platform, tone-of-voice, and copyright/licensing standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience ideating original social content for Instagram and TikTok grounded in UK culture, audience behaviour, and platform trends
- Experience developing creative work from initial insight through production-ready concepts
- Storyboarding, script writing, and visual exploration skills
- Ability to communicate principles of engaging, social-first content to wider creative teams
- Ability to identify reactive content opportunities and turn them around quickly without compromising quality
- Experience presenting work to internal and client teams
- Experience managing brand social channels, including posting principles, data-driven performance optimisation, and community management
- Experience owning scheduling and publishing calendars across multiple channels
- Experience handling community management across owned and non-owned channels
- Collaborative creative-team working style
- Experience using research, social listening, and sentiment tracking to inform strategic decisions
- Ability to turn channel data into actionable creative strategy
- Ability to manage own workload within a structured production cycle
- Ability to receive feedback and adapt quickly
- Knowledge of brand guidelines, platform best practices, tone-of-voice parameters, and copyright/licensing standards
