About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop complex Shopify solutions, including custom apps, public apps, integrations, APIs, GraphQL, and Liquid
Independently design customer-focused technical architectures
Act as the Technical Project Lead (TPV) on client projects
Work closely with Marcel (CTO) as a sounding board and mentor
Actively and proficiently use AI tools in day-to-day development
Continuously develop technical standards and internal processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development
Demonstrable experience developing custom and/or public Shopify apps
Expertise in Shopify custom and public apps (Node.js / React)
REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as complex system integrations
Shopify Liquid and frontend development
Technical architecture mindset—you see the overall system, not just the code
Proficient use of AI coding tools such as Cursor
Independent and solution-oriented approach
Able to quickly gain a deep understanding of unfamiliar topics and develop your own solutions
Structured, quality-conscious working style
Eager to grow and open to feedback
