About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop complex Shopify solutions, including custom apps, public apps, integrations, APIs, GraphQL, and Liquid
Independently design technical architectures from the client’s perspective
Take on the role of Technical Project Lead (TPV) in client projects
Work closely with the CTO as a sparring partner and mentor
Actively and proficiently use AI tools in day-to-day development
Continuously enhance technical standards and internal processes
Contribute to Shopify projects for mid-sized companies and D2C brands, from migration and setup through optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development
Demonstrable experience developing custom and/or public Shopify apps
Expertise in Shopify custom and public apps using Node.js and React
Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, as well as complex system integrations
Knowledge of Shopify Liquid and frontend development
Strong technical architecture skills and an understanding of end-to-end systems
Proficient with AI coding tools such as Cursor
Independent, solution-oriented approach to work
Ability to dive deeply into unfamiliar topics and develop your own solutions
Structured, quality-focused working style
