About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own credit card partnerships end to end, including sourcing, negotiating, and landing partner-funded, card-native perks
  • Grow Wealthsimple Offers and the credit card cashback marketplace across travel, telecom, insurance, entertainment, grocery, and transportation
  • Drive client adoption and redemption
  • Own Milestone Rewards, including mechanics, partner mix, and decisions to revamp, expand, or retire
  • Lead commercial negotiations from first outreach to signed terms
  • Turn card and marketplace data into a partnership pipeline
  • Partner with Growth, PMM, Brand, Product, and data teams to launch, measure, and scale programs
  • Own targets for live offers, unique clients engaging, redemption rates, and quarterly perks, tied to adoption, consolidation, and engagement
  • Source and launch partnerships with major national brands and build programs from scratch

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in consulting, partnerships, and/or product-adjacent roles in banking or customer-focused industries
  • Experience building or running a perks, rewards, or loyalty program
  • Strong negotiation and commercial ownership skills
  • Track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting targets, and turning partnerships into value
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills
  • Ability to assess trade-offs, economics, and scalability
  • Comfort working with spend and redemption data
  • Experience developing and executing strategic partnerships across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Experience launching, building, or scaling programs in a new market with high autonomy
  • High urgency, strong ownership, and bias for action
  • Credit card, card-linked offer, interchange, or payments experience is a nice to have
  • Experience at a fintech, financial institution, or consumer brand with a serious loyalty program is a nice to have
  • SQL or BI tool experience (Looker, Preset, Tableau, or similar) is a nice to have
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
