About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own full-cycle recruiting across all R&D teams, at any level and complexity
Build proactive pipelines for niche technical roles before requisitions open
Partner with Hiring Managers, HRBPs, and Finance on headcount, prioritization, and market conditions
Use AI-forward sourcing and workflow tools while maintaining a strong candidate experience
Track recruiting KPIs, identify risks early, and refine hiring strategy using data
Run interview loops, debriefs, and closing processes
Coach junior recruiters and raise the team's recruiting standards
Improve recruiting processes and tooling for scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
Track record of independently closing complex, senior, or niche searches
Hands-on Ashby experience required
Proven ability to recruit across Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Platform Engineering
Fluency with modern sourcing platforms and AI tooling
Test-and-learn mindset for improving sourcing and workflow tools
Judgment to navigate ambiguity and calibrate hiring bars
Ability to challenge hiring decisions when appropriate
Relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers
Ability to manage multiple complex searches simultaneously
Legally eligible to work in Canada
