About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify businesses that fit the Business Bank proposition
Open doors through personal networks and build relationships with senior decision-makers
Own opportunity and relationship development from first conversation through onboarding and beyond
Build a focused portfolio of around 50 client relationships
Achieve an indicative full-year deposit target of around £25m
Help clients with deposits, treasury, foreign exchange and day-to-day banking
Share market insight and contribute ideas as the proposition develops
Develop the market, originate opportunities and lead senior client relationships
Collaborate with Business, Private and Racing Banking colleagues
Work with Associate and Assistant Business Bankers on onboarding, due diligence, administration and ongoing client service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced business, commercial or corporate banker
Strong record of winning new relationships and growing them sustainably
Experience finding and winning treasury and deposit business
Understanding of how businesses manage cash and liquidity
Comfortable discussing deposits, treasury and day-to-day banking with senior decision-makers
Sound judgement
Strong technical knowledge
Personal approach to client service
