About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
Manage and actively follow up on queries in the central finance inbox
Execute operational tasks and controls within expense management systems such as Pleo and Ramp
Identify opportunities and advise on automating and optimizing financial operations using AI tools
Support the finance team with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Available for 16 hours per week, with flexible hours, preferably at fixed moments
Currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 1 year of accounting experience, such as processing bank transactions and accounts payable/receivable
Advanced proficiency in Dutch and ability to work with Dutch accounting and banking systems
Hands-on knowledge and experience with AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive, self-starter mindset suitable for an international, remote-first environment
Eager to learn and contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of Weaviate's finance function
Alignment with Weaviate's company values
Legal work authorization or right to work in the country where the candidate plans to live and work
Background check as part of onboarding
