About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and harden the Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune environment
- Manage identities, roles, policies, and devices
- Increase Intune coverage to 100%
- Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support
- Automate ticket intake using AI
- Build self-service solutions and reusable workflows
- Further develop the IT security strategy
- Implement patch management, backup, and monitoring
- Support the ISO 27001-compliant ISMS with an external partner
- Maintain the roles and permissions framework
- Automate onboarding and offboarding
- Manage servers, backups, and networks in Leipzig and Würzburg
- Manage and plan software, licenses, hardware, and rollouts
- Contribute to special projects with the development team and other departments
- Document processes and expand the knowledge base
- Support the team in using IT tools securely
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in IT administration or systems engineering
- Experience may have been gained through vocational training, a degree, or a career change
- Solid knowledge and hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and interested in process automation
- Scripting skills, e.g., PowerShell or Python
- Broad technical understanding and willingness to learn new systems
- Knowledge of IT security
- Experience with ISO 27001 or an ISMS is a plus
- Interest in NIS2 or TISAX
- Experience with Linux, Docker, servers, and networking is a plus
- Independent and structured working style
- Ability to explain technical matters clearly and understandably
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel to the Leipzig and Würzburg locations as needed
