About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Redesign the Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and data model, including Data Model Objects, relationships, and Calculated Insights
- Define the single-customer identity strategy and configure Identity Resolution
- Map and migrate data from external sources, such as data lakes and data warehouses, into Data Cloud
- Redesign audience segmentation within the platform, applying segment reuse and hierarchy to optimize cost and performance
- Optimize platform credit consumption by cleansing environments and removing idle objects and streams
- Configure segment activation for Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
- Conduct technical diagnostics (health checks) of existing Data Cloud environments
- Document architecture, data governance, and prioritized use cases
- Advise clients on platform best practices, including scalability and cost reduction
- Work on a staff augmentation project, integrated with the client’s internal team and collaborating with Marketing Cloud and Data Engineering specialists
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Solid experience implementing and optimizing Salesforce Data Cloud in production environments
- Knowledge of Customer Data Platform (CDP) architecture
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Knowledge of SQL
- Proficiency in Salesforce Data Cloud, including Data Streams, Data Model Objects, Identity Resolution, Calculated Insights, Segmentation and Activation, and Data Actions
- SQL for data modeling and validation
- Experience integrating Data Cloud with external sources, such as data lakes and Databricks
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder and Audience Builder
- Knowledge of credit consumption governance and architecture best practices
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Databricks, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SQL, Postman, Jira/Trello, and Miro/Draw.io
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is desirable
- Experience with Identity Resolution in multi-source data environments is desirable
- Experience with Agentforce or AI agents built on Data Cloud is desirable
- Previous experience in consulting projects embedded within the client’s team is desirable
- Advanced English proficiency is desirable
