About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, business opportunities, and areas for improvement
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
Work with Google Cloud Platform services to support data analytics and reporting requirements
Develop optimized SQL queries in Google BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis
Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency
Develop data models and analytical datasets supporting reporting, visualization, and business intelligence use cases
Optimize queries, dashboards, and data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency
Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to investigate and resolve them
Translate business requirements into KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and analytical reports
Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders
Contribute to data analytics processes, standards, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based analytics environments
Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery, including SQL querying, optimization, data transformation, and large-scale data analysis
Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data visualization, reporting, and KPI creation
Excellent SQL skills and strong understanding of relational and analytical databases
Experience working with large datasets and translating business requirements into analytical solutions
Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and analytical reporting
Strong knowledge of data analysis and data modelling concepts
Experience with Dataplex for data management, governance, discovery, and organization within GCP
Experience with Dataform for developing, managing, and transforming analytical datasets in BigQuery
Understanding of modern data warehouse and data lake architectures
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage
Exposure to Python or other programming languages used for data analysis is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage multiple analytical requirements, and communicate complex data insights in a simple and business-friendly manner
