About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium or other suitable automation tools
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to improve test coverage, reliability, scalability, and execution efficiency
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Test IoT platforms and validate the functionality, performance, reliability, and interoperability of IoT-based applications and connected systems
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies
Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects with development teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes, testing methodologies, and QA practices
Execute API testing and validate communication between applications, services, and IoT platform components
Support testing activities across short development cycles while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
Work independently with limited supervision, proactively identify risks, and take ownership of testing activities
Provide extended-hours or on-call support when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or QA Automation
Strong hands-on experience in web automation using Selenium or equivalent automation tools
Proven experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks
Strong experience working with IoT platforms and testing connected applications or systems
Good understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management
Familiarity with API testing and cloud environments is an advantage
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage tasks with minimal guidance
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Effective time management and ability to work within short development cycles
Flexibility to provide extended-hours or on-call support when required
