About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the overall vision and strategy for financial products, including ticketing sales, cashless payments, financial reporting, fiscal reporting, and accounting
- Act as the primary liaison between finance, compliance, sales, marketing, and the development team
- Detect and report payment incidents impacting organizers
- Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders and team members
- Provide operational support to Client Success and Finance teams
- Help with PSP configurations, answer questions in Slack, triage RUN requests, and generate custom exports
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work with the development team during sprints to ensure delivery according to specifications and timelines
- Review, QA, and accept completed user stories
- Analyze user data and metrics, particularly for payments technology
- Ensure financial products comply with country, tax, fiscal, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other relevant requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial products
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction
- Implement improvements based on performance metrics and user feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, developers, designers, and business stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- MBA or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner)
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Consultant, or similar role, in a start-up, company or function where payment is core
- Strong understanding of payments and financial concepts, markets, and instruments is mandatory
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Fluent French
- Knowledge of country, tax, and fiscal regulations, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other industry-specific requirements
