About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and communicate international shipment status from shipment through final delivery
  • Support the International Trade Compliance function
  • Negotiate carrier rates for various transportation modes, focusing on cost effectiveness and customer priorities
  • Provide solutions for transportation issues and communicate with sales, customer service representatives and supply chain analysts
  • Assist project coordinators with special freight requirements and external warehousing needs
  • Troubleshoot project freight delivery issues
  • Provide drop ship documentation to supply chain analysts and project coordinators for timely and accurate billing
  • Collaborate and communicate options and pricing as needed
  • Attend leadership meetings, provide information and distribute notes
  • Review freight invoices for accuracy and obtain adjustments for overcharges
  • File claims for damages exceeding the insurance deductible limit
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, Business Administration or other applicable fields, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Ability to provide financial picture of freight vendor proposals and supply chain costs
  • Working knowledge of international trade compliance rules and regulations
  • Must submit an updated resume and complete the application
  • Compliance with Federal, State, and Company policies and regulations
