About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build interactive Power BI dashboards combining operational, workforce and commercial data
  • Clean, combine and validate data from multiple sources; define consistent measures and document assumptions
  • Analyse retention, productivity and service-performance trends
  • Evaluate healthcare capacity expansion, theatre utilisation and patient flow opportunities
  • Model financial and operational impacts of investments and process changes
  • Present concise recommendations to senior leaders and explain evidence limitations
  • Help measure whether agreed changes deliver intended improvements
  • Work directly with operational leaders, clinicians and executives across London, Oxford and Cambridge centres
  • Own live analysis projects from question through recommendation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2:1 undergraduate degree (upper second-class honours) or equivalent, in any discipline
  • Right to work in the UK from November 2026 for the full programme
  • Visa sponsorship is unavailable
  • Available to start in November 2026 and work full time
  • Able to work three days a week on site in London
  • Able to attend the in-person assessment day in London
  • Hands-on experience building clear, interactive Power BI reports
  • Experience cleaning and validating data, investigating trends and outliers, applying sound statistical reasoning, and turning findings into recommendations
  • Excel formulas, lookups and pivot tables
  • Ability to check calculations and build structured models
  • Ability to explain complex findings simply, use effective visuals, and answer questions about methods and assumptions
  • Sound judgement when challenging assumptions and working through ambiguity
  • Attention to detail, resilience and discretion with confidential information
  • Desirable: Power Query, data modelling, table relationships and DAX measures
  • Desirable: SQL, Python or R
  • Desirable: STEM or another quantitative degree
