About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the technical architecture of the customer database, including data capture, structure, and data quality across Braze, HubSpot, site, product, and other sources.
- Define identity resolution, consent, and suppression logic for marketing data flows with Data and Engineering.
- Build and maintain the marketing activation layer on the data warehouse, delivering customer attributes and audiences to CRM and Marketing specifications.
- Own pipelines transferring audiences and attributes between the warehouse, Braze, HubSpot, Google, and Meta, including engagement data flows, coverage, freshness, and failure handling.
- Administer the Commercial team's marketing technology stack, including Braze, HubSpot, and Google Tag Manager.
- Implement and configure new platforms after tooling decisions are made by the CRM team; lead technical rollout and integration.
- Maintain documentation covering data flows, integrations, and ownership.
- Identify and remove technical friction in Commercial tooling and workflows, partnering with Product and Data to automate manual work.
- Triage technical feature requests from Partnerships, Marketing, Pricing, and CRM into a delivery backlog.
- Build business cases for prioritised initiatives, framing impact, effort, and trade-offs.
- Represent Commercial in Product planning and prioritisation forums and communicate delivery status and trade-offs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in CRM/marketing technology, growth or lifecycle operations, or a technical product management role, ideally in a B2C or marketplace business.
- Hands-on experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms such as Braze, HubSpot, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and audience/segmentation tooling such as Segment, mParticle, or Tealium.
- Solid understanding of customer data concepts: identity resolution, consent and permissions, event tracking, and how data flows between systems via APIs.
- Product management fundamentals: prioritisation frameworks, writing user stories and requirements, and partnering effectively with engineering and design teams to ship.
- Comfortable building a business case, framing impact, effort, and trade-offs to support clear decision-making.
- Strong technical implementer who thrives executing within someone else's roadmap and tooling decisions, rather than setting technology strategy independently.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to work closely with Data & Analytics, Product, and Commercial teams.
- Experience in fast-growth environments; comfortable with ambiguity and evolving scope.
- Experience in travel, mobility, marketplaces, or similar multi-sided businesses is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
