About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and edit video and visual content supporting Wellabe's strategic objectives and brand
- Create motion graphics, animations, visual effects, animated typography, illustrations, icons, transitions, and other graphic elements
- Direct, record, edit, and distribute video and audio content across internal and external channels
- Manage production needs including set selection, lighting, camera and sound operation, and subject direction
- Plan and develop video and audio projects with team members and internal customers, including concepts, goals, scope, timelines, scripting, storyboarding, and interviews
- Provide photography support by capturing and editing imagery
- Help manage the onsite production studio and recommend equipment and software
- Maintain video asset organization, naming conventions, quality assurance, archiving, and a comprehensive asset library
- Process project requests through the project management system and ensure brand, quality, and compliance review requirements are met
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, best practices, styles, and trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive knowledge of video production equipment and managing a video set, including set lighting, video camera and lens operation, technical mastery of video shooting, and directing talent and subjects
- 5+ years of professional video production experience, including filming, directing, editing, and post production
- Ability to transform ideas and written content into engaging visual stories through motion, imagery, and sound
- Consistently applies brand standards and content style guidelines, including basic AP style
- Exceptional communication, time management, and project prioritization skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and synthesize input from multiple stakeholders
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Bachelor's degree in film/video production, communications, or related field, or combination of education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Must maintain a valid Iowa Driver's license and be an insurable driver under the company's corporate auto policy
